globle.ie hosts free browser puzzle games — geography guessers and word puzzles. Here's everything a parent or teacher usually wants to know, without the scavenger hunt:
- No chat, no messaging, no user content. There is nothing on this site through which strangers can contact a child.
- No accounts and no personal data. The games don't ask for names, emails or logins. Streaks are stored only in the browser itself.
- No downloads. Everything runs in the browser; nothing is installed.
- Age-appropriate content. The games are country names, flags, letters and maps. There is no violence, no gambling mechanics and no in-game purchases.
Using the games in class
Globle works remarkably well as a 5-minute warm-up: put the globe on the projector, let the class vote on guesses, and watch them argue about where Comoros is. A round of Globle takes two to five minutes and ends on its own — there's no endless feed, no reward loop begging for one more hour. One puzzle per day is the design, not a restriction we bolted on.
